mystery bird??

I got this bird with my cochins and it's now 8 weeks old I just have no idea what breed or gender it is. It was the rare breed but I haven't came across this before. I think it has a pea comb but it's comb is so small it's hard to tell. Anyways the pics aren't very good all I have is my camera phone so you might not notice it has blue legs

With blue/gray legs it sounds like a silver laced Sebright Bantam but it looks really big for that.

I have no clue but it's really flighty compared to my other chickens it's also small like the a bantam and is extremely bony compared to my cochins and RIRs. I'm just really annoyed! lol

silver sebright. Are its legs a bluish Grey? If they are pretty certain its a sebright.

its either a wyandotte or sebright but it looks too scrawny to be a wyandotte and sebrights are typically flighty so I would assume sebright!

Okay well I was just looking up sebrights and they don't really resemble it so will it get more mottled as it grows? Yes it's legs are a bluish grey but I don't think it has enough white... Also it's hackle feathers look pointed to me but it has hardly any comb to speak of. So if you're familiar with sebrights is that normal for an 8 week old cockerel? or is this a pullet? I agree that it's not a wyandotte you should see it next to my cochin chicks it came with! it looks like a twig

The lacing will increase with Age and hatchery birds are poorly marked anyhow. Rosecombs on hens are miniscule until they start laying. yours looks like a pullet to me.

well if it does lighten up but it gets hackles sickles and saddles then it is not a quality sebright or not one at all they have what is called "hen feathering"

The neck feathers will stay looking pointy like that with hatchery birds, better Quality birds do molt them out and replace them with blunter better marked feathers later.
