3 weeks ago bought 3 heavies and 3...what I think are bantam cochins.
The 3 heavies were yellow...but are feathering now and I can't tell what they might be. Skin is pink right now with yellow legs. Here are some pics...would love help if you know the breed an/or if you can tell if maybe a boy (they were straight run). I realize sec may take awhile to figure out! I have australorps and orpingtons now...
Heavy #1
Heavy #2
Heavy #3 feathering faster than other 2
And the possible cochin bantams...one possibly a fizzle cochin bantam
Bandit...our one winged bantam (partridge cochin?)
Smallest bantam (unsure of cochin type) we have named "Itty bitty":
And Ren, our last bantam cochin (mottled cochin?):
2 of the heavies have been challenging each other for a week....jumping at each other and neck to neck stuff...but my orpington hens did that at a few weeks old...so wondering if it is pecking order or rooster behavior.
Thanks for any help!!
