Mystery Brown Egg?

Hey guys, I know I’ve been worrying about my hens and hardware disease recently but, something threw me off track. Today, I found 7 eggs in the nesting boxes all brown. But, my EE has not started squatting or showing any signs of laying. Also, she’s supposed to lay green or blue eggs. So, either may EE started laying brown eggs unexpectedly by night or a hen is laying double time. Also, I can only have 7 eggs because, my other hen died. Thanks.
Btw EE= Easter Egger. Just in case you were confused.

Easter Eggers can lay brown eggs but it’s not very common. What breeds do you have?

Other than my EE, I have
3 barred rocks
2 naked necks
1 Rhode Island Red
They all lay brown eggs.

I got her at a local pet store called Kahoots that’s where I got all my chickens as babies.

Well most likely one of them laid the egg. I have had it happen when a bird will lay an egg in the evening after I’ve collected eggs and when I let them out I notice the egg.

That’s what I was thinking too. But, us daily I check their nesting boxes at night. So, I may have forgotten to. It was very late.

I just Googled Kahoots. It's a like a pet/feed store right? Places like tractor supply Co. Get chicks from hatcheries so I'm guessing that's where Kahoots gets its chicks. The first 'Americana', EE, I got was a gift from a family member was from a hatchery and she layed a light brown egg.

Yeah it is like a pet feed store. That’s where I got them. But, it might just be that I forgot to collect an egg from yesterday. Plus, my EE isn’t squatting yet. So I guess I just made a little mistake.
