Hi all,

I know it’s too early to tell with certainty. But, this was the only chick in our order from Meyer that we can’t figure out! I added two random rare breeds. One is clearly a polish and this one..no idea! I’ve looked through all the day old pics on the site and nothing is really jumping out at me. Any guesses? If anything it’ll be fun to watch (hopefully) “her” grow! Thanks!

I think I see a pea comb and puffy cheeks (muff/beard), which suggest Easter Egger.

Meyers' rare breed section includes several kinds of Easter Eggers, and most of them can have a variety of appearances. If it is one of them, you may never know exactly which one, but will probably get blue or green eggs if it turns out to be female.

Ah yes, I should have guessed, as we have had EE before and got more this go round. The coloring just threw me off. Thank you!

And since you both pointed out the muffs, I went back and checked and there are only two with them, which would make sense since I ordered two EE. One is much bigger and more obviously EE to me. Now I realize I must not have matched up the other breeds correctly, so there’s still a mystery one 🤣 We’re second guessing everything now between BSB, Wyandottes and australorps!

Post each one and what you think they are, plus what breeds you ordered! We can help! 😊 Love the matching games!
I definitely feel a photo shoot coming on this weekend thanks! 🤣 I ordered some leg bands just so I could keep them straight as they grow. Chicken math hit hard and we’ve got 16 lol!
