I wondered about the head spot because otherwise it looks like my Welsummer babies did but I wouldn't even be comfortable saying that under red lightThe shape of the head indicates a small crest, and the clear chipmunk pattern in cool brown shades + the small headspot indicates the barred CCLB coloration. I know it’s a female because they’re autosexing.

The chicks are now 5 weeks old and I moved them outside where the rest of my flock can see them through a fence. I took a photo of the Crested cream legbar pullet--not the best photo, but it shows her unbelievable crest well. It makes her look like a punk rocker!Crested cream legbar female
