Curiosity is getting the better of medoes anyone wanna guess what this baby chick is. I was thinking possibly black sexlink or Easter or olive egger, I don’t know that those are good guesses though.

I'm guessing about three weeks old at most, no older. I am not going to guess sex yet.

Where did you get it? What are the possibilities? That might help us narrow it down. Based on the photo it could be a lot of different things, especially a mixed breed.

It came from rural king, it’s suppose to be a pullet I think. I’m pretty sure they had the tags really mixed up for some of them. It’s suppose to be maybe a Welbar, Welsummer and I forgot the other tags on them. One was suppose to be something else and I’m almost positive it’s a barred rock so it could really be anything

The only reason I don't think she's an Easter Egger is because I'm not seeing any fluffy cheeks/beard. The plumage is definitely right for one though. She sure is adorable!!

Yes!! I raised some EEs and they had puffy cheeks when they were very small. I’m leaning toward black sexlink or some kind of mix. Thanks!

Thank you so much! He is a crele Old English Game Bantam, but he looks a lot like a Maran! That picture was taken when I took him to Yellowstone to train him for the fair lol!

You’re welcome, His coloring is gorgeous!! I had a half game rooster that used to come and visit us. He doesn’t come up anymore, I like him better than my current roosterhe’s a barred rock I think, he has a grudge against me some days lol
