So, I ordered 1 Buff Orpington, 1 Blue Cochin, 1 Partridge Cochin, and 1 Light Brahma, here's what I got (one week old).
I assume the one in the front is the substitution for the LB, but aside from knowing it's a cochin due to the feathered feet, any guess what color she might turn out to be?
At first I thought a 2nd Blue, maybe the black color you can get when breeding blue? But her wings are looking much more like the reddish one I assumed was the partridge...
What do you think?

Yup. Bramas have feathered feet, but the site I ordered from only had Light Brahmas, which are very pale yellow as chicks! I said hatch day substituions were OK, as long as they were cochin, brahma, wyandotte, or australorp. I narrowed it down to the cochin based on the foot feathers, and the color.

OK, now I'm stumped. The more I look, the more confused I get. I have now found pics of Light Brahmas tha were not just yellow. Anyone else out there with Brahmas that look like this baby?
I have trouble naming her until I can figure out what she will be...

Quite often, hatchery chicks are not the yellow chicks you are expecting. My Light Brahma chick was dark with a yellow face, so it's still possible that you have a LB:) Here's a couple pix of my girl:

That is indeed a Light Brahma - As stated before, my hatchery girls, too, were very dark as chicks, unlike true Brahmas. This is indicative of them growing to have a lot of black leakage and pencilling, or "mossiness" on their backs. It should not show up in Brahmas, but does in hatchery quality ones. Infact, you cannot escape it.

Well, I bought them as pets so I don't really care if the color is a little off... actually she could grow up to be purple and I'd still adore her! So,, since I decided to call her Fiona, I really hope MPC was right and she is in fact a she! She IS a very bold little girl. Well, I'll adore HIM, too, if that's the case!
