Mystery Chick?

My mom purchased eight pure Breed Australorp Chicks. We didn't get a good look at them till we got home. 7 of them look like Austrlorp chicks (like they should) however one dose not. He has grey eyes and black/blue and white feathers coming in. They are two weeks old now, we bought when they were a week old. I know its still early but any ideas of what breed this chick might be?


The chick on the left is an Australorp the other chick is the unknown one.


This is an Australorp Chicks head. Note the black eyes.


This is the mystery chicks head. It has Grey/blue eyes

Dose anyone have any idea what breed this mystery chick I or might be crossed with?

I agree. The black and white patterning on the wings is characteristic of a Barred Rock, as well as the white patch on the bird's neck.

Yup .... Barred Rock. I have Barred Rocks and Black Australorps.
More white than black might be a Roo??
