We have 14 miscellaneous chickens and know generally what most of them are, but this one little guy (or gal) is a mystery to us. He's 5 months old, none of them are laying yet, so no idea on the gender either. He's much smaller than my whites and reds, so I assume he's some bantam breed, but any insight would be great!

Looks to me like a spangled Cornish Bantam. probably a pullet, judging from the colors and lack of any roo feathering at 5 months.

Not a very common breed to see but she has the stout build, the typical pea comb, and the right color legs and feathering.

Thank you! I had googled bantam breeds and spangled chicken images before and couldn't pin her down. I googles 'spangled cornish bantam' and all of the results I saw looked like her! Thank you for your help!

I had a Dark Cornish Bantam Roo, who by now was Crowing. That little birds gonna get fat, so monitor it xD. We sold the roo though... But those chubby little legs on that Pullet are certainly Cornish!

Thanks you guys!! She's one of our favorites... great personality! And she has this little tail wiggle when she gets excited that is just too adorable! I hope that she'll still do it when all of her adult feathering comes in. Her tail just rapidly shivers whenever we put out new feed or bring treats.
