Hello. I ordered some hatching eggs off of Ebay, my first time doing that. I ordered speckled sussex eggs, but I got something very different when they hatched. The seller said she "threw a few extras in the box" of a mix of something she's breeding. She has Polish, Speckled Sussex and Seramas in this mix. The chicks have top hats/mohawks, are very friendly.. mottled, and active. They are a little older than this now.. but has anyone seen chickens like this before? One speckled sussex hatched ... in the second photo next to the other mixed breed. I really love the mix..they are super fun cute birds.

Seems to be built like a road runner, more than a chicken. I hope you have running shoes :idunno

She was quite young. Here are more updated photos. I put some pine straw down and threw some mealworms in them. They love scratching around for that. You can see them next to my Australoops some of the photos to get the size. They are about 12 weeks plus or minus.

Is that a chicken photo shoot? 🤣
Yes, they do kind of look like that. I find them hilarious. I called them the hooligan band. I’m naming them after rockers. My head rooster is Mick Jagger. lol. I have another one named Cooper like Alice Cooper, LOL. Anyway, they’re very friendly little birds and I am not unhappy with them although I did want speckled Sussex so I’m going to get a few more eggs from someone else.

Not chicken related but Alice Cooper was not in Kiss…still a good name for a chicken
