I purchased a "barnyard mix" of eggs from a local farm. They said they might be; Plymouth Barred Rock and Rhode Island Red, White Leghorn or Delaware. We hatched 14 chicks. I'm pretty sure 2 are Rhode Island Red. I think the 6 black ones are Plymouth Rocks and the yellow are Delaware or Leghorn. Any ideas about one?

thats what mine looks like - but mine has 5 toes like a Silkie! How many toes does yours have? Is yours feather-footed also?

I don't know what mine is either... maybe something "blue"?
mamakelly, would you PM me if you get some answers on yours? I'm stuck on this one.

Does feather footed mean they have feathers on their legs? If so, yes! I have two that re colored like this with feathers on their legs.

I think that was the breed of "everyone" in the barnyard. Although in another post one of the chicks has been identified as a Turken,

So who knows, LOL! It was a working home farm though, so there weren't silikes or any fancy breed like that there.
