My granddaughter and I got 6 chicks at the feed store. ALL the chicks in the store were supposed to be female. One tub had RIRs and Austrolopes. The other tub had my BSL and EE/Ameracauna. One is a RIR, Two are BSL... the other 3 look complete different. One looks beardy and I think she may be the Alpha, pecking at the others (Queen Bee) ... Ameracauna? One is larger, lighter, with black eye lines on her head (Cleopatra). And one is sort of like a sex-link but more reddish coloring around the lower face/upper throat and a little flighty(Skeeter). It doesn't really matter. They are all unique except for the 2 BSL who look like twin sisters (Iris and Daisy). The RIR is by far the most friendly and adventurous (Penny Lane).
Naturally, the very night I got them, I got the e-mail from eFowl.com. My other 15 chicks are aiming to be shipped the 27th of May. I'm gonna need a bigger boat...I mean coop. Haha.

Easter eggers can look very different from bird to bird. They just have the common factor of (supposedly) carrying the blue/green egg gene. There are usually common color/patterns, and pea combs, beards/muffs and green or dark legs are very common but not requirements.
