Mystery Critter

I saw this on an episode of "Dirty Jobs", but I don't know what it is. It sort of looks like a rabbit, but the front legs are too long, and the ears too short. The face also looks wrong. Any ideas? thanks!!

Well, replying to my own post here, but after some sleuthing on Bing, it looks like my mystery critter is an Agouti. A rabbit like animal that prefers sugar cane fields. Learn something new every day!
