Good morning! So, this is my first post here. I'm completely new to ducks, buts couldn't help but buy a couple at the feed store when buying feed for my chickens. There seem to be a lot of very knowledgeable people here so maybe some of you can help me. I think the larger duck is a buff, but I can't for the life of me figure out what breed my other duck is. It's head is darker from the neck up, could it be a drake? Any information y'all could give me would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I'm afraid I disagree. The one on the left looks like a harlequin

Though the right one does look like a buff. You might be able to tell their gender by voice by now, a boys voice is kind of hoarse sounding and boys can't quack, girls quack. You can look at this if you want:

Thank you guys for the input and information! I was thinking the one might be a welshie as well, the little wing feathers look a lot like pictures of young welshies i've seen. It helps having second opinions. Thank you so much!
