Hello, I would like a little bit of incubator help. I have my incubator covered to help keep heat steady, but it won't rise any further then 97.9°F to 98.4°F, have any ideas?

Would be best to start a new tread with the details of your brand and model of incubator.

First thing to do before every incubation is test your therms and hygros:

I know, I calibrated them before I started incubating any eggs, my thermometer/Hygrometer is working fine, that's how I know what the temperature is.

Too rotten to open up and see if chicken or duck?
I open mine outside with egg inside a ziplock bag for stink factor.
