Mystery Egg, Came In A Barnyard Mix For Hatching! (Duck, or Chicken Egg?)

Here's most of my eggs in storage. I'm using my old incubator hold eggs for storing. I will be having turkey eggs arriving soon.

The ones on the far left are from my chickens, they're labeled with their names.

Mine hatched out ok without assistance. Be careful when assisting. Often times they are still absorbing the yolk sack. I keep my hatching humidity between 75 and 80%.
I know about the waiting before assisting rule, not my first rodeo with helping chicks hatch. I've helped at least 9 total when they needed it, especially the chicks that grew to big for their shells, or became sticky, and glued to their membranes due to excess moisture.

I've had a few rodeo's myself over the years helping chicks. Most have made it ok but I have had a couple of failures. Good luck and have fun...
I always have fun with hatching peeps, even when it comes to helping them hatch when needed.

If it’s a duck egg it’s gonna take about 28 to 30 days to hatch. I misse my chance to hatch my mallards eggs...something had a feast one night before I could go back and collect them all. Please keep us updated on what it is!
Okay, I'll keep you all updated. I did look up the hatch time for duck eggs just in case. The question is, what type of duck is it, if it is a duck?

It could be a mallard. They lay light green or white eggs. I got sold two goslings as ducks because the guy didn’t know what goslings looked like I guess. He was like oh they are just really big/older ducklings. So I took them because at first I didn’t really look at them till I got home with my other ducklings and chicks. So two goslings for the price of ducklings-I’ll take it! Lol

@Aporter0190, :welcome :frow I live on a dead end and quite awhile back I found a baby gosling in my driveway. Because we are rural, I suspect someone knew I had chickens and just dropped it off. I took care of it and gave it away to some people who wanted it.
Oh wow that’s crazy! We live in a rural area too. We have 13 acres and a pond and then rock mining ponds behind us and woods. so I hear them honking all the time but the only thing we have in our pond is our 3 ducks and an occasional wild wood duck.
