So I ordered eggs from My Pet Chicken and added some additional mystery eggs to the order. I’m on day 21 and they’ve both pipped. Based on color and size what do you think they are???
the eggs in question are the two in the back in this picture. They are both tinted/pinkish (the ones in the front were marked so I know what they are 2 EEs and a Maran).
To narrow it down here’s the list of breeds they sell that they say lay these color eggs:
Austra White
Silkie
Egyptian Fayoumi
Mille Fleur d’Uccle Bantam
Porcelain d’Uccle Bantam
Salmon Faverolles
Silver Gray Dorking
Easter Egger Bantam (apparently some EEs lay pink eggs)
I will post pictures when (if they hatch
) and hopefully we can figure out who was right or at least narrow it down! I know a lot of newborn chick breeds look similar at first.
