I found this egg by a river on a fishing trip. The egg is fairly large and solid white. The egg was cold and no other eggs or birds were around to identify who laid it. I candeled it and put it under a hen.

Every day I wet it down with a damp rag once. It has been under a broody hen for two weeks and is alive. At the end of the the first week I put five other chicken eggs under the same hen assuming the egg would hatch in three more weeks along with the chickens. This was under the assumption of it being a Canadian goose egg.

. I've had friends say it was a duck but I have pretty much ruled out that option due to it's size. Others say goose, and my grandfather says herein, dinosaur,Turkey and other crazy things. But I really have no idea so plz help.

P. S. I am unable to post images of the egg sorry.

We can probably rule out heron, dinosaur, and turkey so that leaves it most likely to be a Canada goose or duck egg.

Yeah dinosaur eggs are normally purple

If its big and white and next to the river maybe a gator or snapping turtle egg??? Some really big snapping turtles in Maine use to lay some giant eggs, made me think of duck eggs except they were round.

Any help would be nice plz

It hatched yesterday. Named her ferry cuz I found her by a ferry. I will keep everyone updated.

I think I'm going to make it my profile pic

Just remember when its fully grown it will fly away. It is something that you need it to do anyways. However you don't want it to have to much human contact.
