I have 2 red sex link which lay a brown egg every day. One of my three Barred Rocks lays a tan egg every day. Saturday I got a white egg. Now in this pen which I left the door open so they could scratch around in the big run but then get back inside to the water and nest box I have 2 RSL, 3 BR, and 1 SLW which are 22 weeks and 1 Polish/Cuckoo Maran and 1 Polish/Welsummer which are 14 weeks old. Who would lay a white egg? I know that Polish lay a white egg but these girls are 14 weeks old and they have NO combs or wattles. It's a serious case of who dunnit? Can a BR or SLW lay a white egg? It was snow white.

No ducks. My SLW has white earlobes. My husband saw one of the BR in there. She does not have the same body shape as the other BR. She is small like a bantam and has the upright tail like some bantams I have seen. My 14 week old mixed polish have combs similar to the EE I have seen on here that have started to lay eggs. It is really flush with the beak but really red. Can they lay early? 14 weeks?

Found the answer. I looked at the earlobes and one of by Barred Rocks is a Barred Leghorn...
