Mystery hen.

    I have 2 of these birds. They were supposed to be americaunas... obviously not. They lay an olive egg and I'm 90% sure they are bantams. If anyone has any thoughts
     
  2. Probably olive eggers, which fall under the larger term Easter Eggers or EE.

    They look like what most people would just call Easter Eggers, mixes bred to lay colored eggs, most of the commercial hatcheries sell them in bantam.

    That's kinda what I thought. I got them before I realized how hard americaunas are to find. Thanks for the input.

    I have an easter egger.i love her like crazy.she is the most loving easy little chicken I have.her name is petal.she lays beautiful eggs.BUT do you think I can find any more like her?? NO WAY. its ridiculous.oh well ill keep looking.goid luck with yours[​IMG]
