How do folks get antibiotics for their chickens? is a vet the only way? Anyone near Seattle have vet recs that don’t break the bank OR have something else we can try for our chicken?

We have a chicken that seems to sick, but we’re not sure what’s going on. We gave them all a treatment of Corid and she seemed to start improving but now has stopped eating and drinking again☹️

Additional info:
Her poop is bright yellow and watery, and has been for about 10-14 days now. No worms that we can tell, no sneezing, no mites, and the rest of the flock is fine. She’s 5 months old and now just stands around fluffed out all day in the same spot. ☹️

Same pullet as in your other thread?

Have you dewormed and treated for Coccidiosis? You should be able to find dewormer and Corid at most feed stores like TSC.

Antibiotics, you'd need to order online.

Is she laying yet? How does her vent look? She might be having trouble with the egg making process. My pullet had became eggbound twice and had bright yellow poop, as well as lethargic behavior where she stood around a lot.

Thanks all for the tips. Sadly she passed last night ☹️ ( and yes it was the same chicken from my previous thread).
We treated her with Corid and gave her some warm baths and her vent seemed normal so I don’t think it was cocci or that she was egg bound, but I guess we’ll never know. Just hoping the rest of our flock stays healthy now.

I am so sorry for your loss. I am having similar issue. Treating now with Corid. Want to administer Ivermectin. How soon after corid can I give flock ivermectin?
