I have 4 Brahma hens. 2 are in one pen and the remaining 2 in another pen. Pens are separate and not very close to each other. One hen in each pen is having issues. One symptom these 2 share is that they lay down almost 100% of the time and rarely, if ever, are outside the coop. In pen #1 one hen had scaley mites. I've treated both pens with Ivermectin. I have the scaley mites almost 100% cleared but she continues to lay down all day. She has started laying eggs again but on the ground, not in a nesting box. In the other pen one of the hens walks occasionally but it's a weird bowlegged, squatty walk. I've put both pens on vitamin water. It's been no more than 2 weeks since I did that. Please help.
