Does not look like a barred rock to me. Comb color and legs are not right. Could it be a Dominique or cuckoo?

Yeah, probably not BR, looks pretty different from my BR chicks a few years ago too.

I was just going back through the feed stores Facebook page today. Supposedly they had Silver Laced Sussex that day as well. Is it possible that this bird is a SL Sussex?

Aw she’s getting so pretty. That could be silver lacing. I’m not really familiar with that color or breed.

I think this could be the answer. Just googled them, ans the feather pattern and white ear lobes seem to match. Lots of eggs in your future Id say!
