Mystery Rooster and hen

The black and white barring is a dominant gene and will be seen in the offspring of a barred daddy. Your roosters daddy was probably a barred rock (based on his single comb) and his mama maybe a white rock. He is most likely a black sex-link rooster. I agree that the hen is probably a second generation red sex link. My Booger has feathered legs due to his light brahma mama (lol @ brahma mama). He also has a modified comb due to his parents' straight and rose comb combo. He is HUGE.
 
I just checked the website of the hatchery that Atwood's uses, and if my mystery hen is a red sex link, they use a RIR rooster over a Delaware hen. If she is a brown sex link, they use a RIR rooster over a silver factor white rock female.

I think that hen is still an Orpington crossed with an Easter Egger (green egger layer). Like this hen:
