mystery solved, re "dying chickens" former post

chicken vet concluded that a dog got ahold of my barred rock and because of real bad bites on legs why it didn't want to walk,then infection/ shock set in, died two mornings later, I had no Idea but about an hour ago the neigbor's young black lab got out and attacked my other niegbors rooster and out right killed it so thank's everybody for the help and we are currently worming our remaining chicken's with wazine it probally is a good Idea.

Glad you know what happened.. That dog shows up again and it wouldnt have a second chance to hurt one of my chickens.. If have a gun by the back door , then SSS ...

I am sorry for your lsos but happy you found the cause. check our local laws, in some areas you can shoot the dog for bothering chickens. Wazine will oly get rid of roundworms...if you want to worm everyone, completely, use a good full spectrum wormer like Ivermectin, Eprinex or the like.
