A few Easter Eggers for my lonely chick.

I will be happy once we move out of here. Getting tired of it now. My Uncle just got mad at me for saving a lonely chick's life. I mean, it's pretty bad when you bash somebody for doing the right thing. Why don't they put themselves in this situation? The Mirror trick doesn't always work, so what other option would I have? Cull it? If there's hope in an animal living, I'm not gonna ends it's life for no reason. Only time I cull, is when there's undesirable traits, a birds is to sick, or injured to recover, or it's to put food on the table.

Yes the chick has one trait I don't want, but I may just keep this one because it's a survivor.

How does pink egg colour work genetically?
It's caused by a thicker bloom on brown, or cream eggs. Bloom can be influenced by both the hens, & roosters genes.

Okay, the colors of Easter Eggers I got are Lavender Partridge, Blue, or Splash Duckwing, What looks to be Silver Partridge, & Brassy Back which also looks like it may have the patterning gene. It's a wait, & see how they turn out.
