MysteryChicken's, Flock.

Been awhile since I had someone avoid a simple question I ask(Trying to be helpful, & educate), then they call me combative, & a troll. How hard is it to just answer a question? All I did was ask: What breeds did you have that got water belly make you believe it was the feed?

Forgot to mention: They gave me some AI generated explanation of high protein being harmful🤦‍♀️🙄.

Not my fault I like helping.

Sorry about my mini rant.

I’ve had a couple experiences like this on here since I came back. I’m not sure what it is that makes people feel defensive when asked questions. I end up wondering if they actually want help in the first place. On the plus side, people with that attitude don’t generally hang around long because everyone who has been here a while asks a lot of questions 😆

They weren't the person needing help, but I was trying to help dig into why this happened to person (B's) birds, & guide them to not spread misinformation.

GreenFire Farms has Dong Tao in. They got them legally imported through a different country. It's $149 a chick though, which is understandable right now.
i have been waiting so long for this day…but I haven’t prepared a speech where I talk my husband into $149 for one chicken so I guess I will have to wait. His favorite kind of chicken is a free one lol

Everyone wants a free chicken really.

I've been waiting for this breed for quite awhile as well. I might be able to squeeze in a couple this spring if everything goes well.

Turns out they had them imported in 2023, so they were probably building the flock up before making them available for everyone, which makes sense for the time frame.
