Mystic Maran laid a half gray egg?

One of my mystic maran’s, Crow, has laid a half gray egg. Unfortunately, the other hens cracked it and tried to eat it, so i can’t keep it. Is this unusual? They normally lay dark brown.

Its actually the bloom covering half rincing it should show the true color
