Can you say...
"Myth busted"

nobody consistently gets 90% to 100% hatch rate

If your birds are penned appropriately for optimum fertility and are healthy, thriving flocks and you know how to incubate/hatch, yes you can. Heck, I can calculate my hatch time down to within a 6 hour window. And yes, I do routinely get 90-100% hatch rates. I've got the brooders to prove it.

1. What about the woman who had twins hatch out of an egg??? (Greater than 100% hatch...

)

3. Yes, 90% hatch rates do routinely happen...

5. Humidity in your area can affect your humidity inside of your incubator...leave an incubator outside in a rainstorm...yeah...it's gonna affect it.

Are we trying for 100% perfection
I think not.
and yes humidity in a room certainly does affect a still air incubator.

Yes, humidity in a room does affect the incubator.. Humidity in a certain area of the country has no bearing on the hatchability of an egg..

Me, too, Jody. I hatch for almost 2 years continuously with 95% - 100% hatching. You know this. I hatched many of your eggs during this time as well as my own orpingtons.

Also fertility rate and hatch rate are 2 different things. Most people don't know how to calculate their hatch rate.
