Blu walked quietly through the rocks, stopping now and then to make sure that her pet rabbit was still following her. She came to a steep downward slope, and carefully started down. Unfortunately, she slipped on a rock, and caused a shower of pebbles to fall down the hill, making a large racket. Blu froze. That could've alerted an enemy to her position! She turned around, to see if Hoppy was still following her. But Blu couldn't see him. She started pawing through the rocks, and was startled when she heard a voice say, "Hello"

After a few minutes, Valor was suddenly awakened by stones rattling on the hill behind him. He leaped up and whirled around, and saw an esk.
"Oh, great, what is this, an esk invasion?" he thought.
He trotted up the hill, towards the esk. It seemed to be pawing at something on the ground. It hadn't noticed him yet.
"Hello!" he called, smirking when the esk jumped in surprise.
But then he was surprised, for instead of running away, or trying to fight, the little blue esk trotted over to him.
And the most peculiar feeling came over him....
