Memories rushed through her head of the night her mother confessed everything that the other dragons had done to her. She was tempted to say that her kind had done nothing good to her mom, so why would they be kind to her, but instead said, "I'm sorry but I will be going now. My mother will be worried."
 
She felt slightly guilty as she turned to leave, grabbing the canteen she had dropped. She turned back and started to say to both of them, "Maybe we could talk again sometime," When she heard wing beats. And just as she suspected, there was her mother, hurling towards her. She was in for it now.

Three dragons and herself. Maple was slightly interested, but kept the projection of the other her beside her.
 
Ara had been searching for her daughter ever since she had found the cave empty when she got back. What if someone kidnapped her. What would I do then. I have no powers to fight against other dragons. And what she saw when she found her daughter proved that her fears were true. And powers or no powers she wasn't going to let anyone kidnap her daughter. She flew down at break neck speed and landing in-between the esk and dragon she didn't know before roaring at the top of her lungs, "LEAVE MY DAUGHTER ALONE!!"

"She's the one who approached me." Maple said, making her other self's mouth move along with her's
 
"Yes mother," Riana said hanging her head and realizing the stupidity of approaching something you had no knowledge of. She had proved once again that she wasn't ready to be on her own.
 
Ara seeing the expression on her daughter's face took on a gentler tone. "I know you want to help, but sometimes it's better if you don't," She said, "I don't want you to get hurt sweet face."
