Maple fluffed her fur and picked a drying stalk of mint from her garden.

Ragnoer sets out across the drought stricken dessert like terrain with two others to bring water to the village .

A voice called maple, "Maple, you know the drought, I'm going to send you to get some water for the Esk."
"what-"
"go. now." the leader of the esk whispered.
Maple nodded and headed into her house to get supplies.
(I have to go for a bit.)

Maple nudged a sack onto her back with her nose and headed out of the city borders

Ragnoer looks onward to what was once a lush green valley that now is dry and desolate .

( What happened to the land ? Like just a normal drought ? Or can it be fixed ?)
