We had a processing demo at our first CT chickenstock. It was very educational and a lot of fun, sorta.

Sorry, was out cruising the roads of CT. I'd love to ride the bike out to PA but AHappyChick is bringing too many darn chickens so we'll be in my little red pickup. I may even wash it for the drive.

That one is white with a few small black spots on head. So cute. It's the watcher since it's the oldest... so cute. We aren't used to seeing ducklings this small. Even the Pekins we hatched out this morning are way bigger than the little call babies.

I *did* have five whites. One lost in the basement someplace, one lost in the garage someplace. Which is not as bad as the two week old bunny I cannot find, it got out of the basket and, ummmm, went someplace. I spent two hours looking for it the other morning. I'm sure I will find it later...

i have a question ... what type of cage should we bring the chicks in so everyone can see them ? do you use a small pet carrier or a cardboard box with wire on top of it ? all of my wire cages happen to be in use right now. should i label the cage as to what is inside of it ... sorry this is my first chickenstock.

i will be bringing some polish chicks , polish/cochin mix, silkie/cochin mix
