I have 6 and will put in another 6 maybe tomorrow in another incubator. I got my new incubator and now I have 2 .... Muahahaha.... Sexing may be tough, but I am pretty good at guessing because of size. The largest ones are usually the Drakes. I'll bring eggs too. I will have some nice silkie chicks too.

2 incubators!! OMG tel DH Im so sorry but he is screwed! hahaha--I have never heard a female duck talk before so Im excited to hear them chatter and be able to recognize the difference in voices

I am VERY strongly considering placing an order with Nature's Hatchery within the next few days hopefully (before TSC gets their chicks in and I can't help myself...lol).....would anyone want to split the order with me?...I dont' want to have to pay extra for the shipping, so it needs to be at least 25 chicks total. I'll be ordering excess of whatever I get already...so I will have some chickies to sell if I can get an order placed! Also want to order some serama eggs from seramaland if anyone wants to split an egg order with me too....I can incubate if I can get first choice of chicks...lol

My world was shattered yesterday, after getting home from an auction where I got a Sportsman incubator and hatcher for a total steal... My dog opened a window that was open about 2 inches to allow some air flow, and jumped out into the yard with my chickens while we were dropping chairs off at my in-laws. She took 12 birds including my tolbunt polish roo, silkie drake, almost all of my polish, my Sammy chicken (LF salmon Fav. hen), all but 2 lavender orps, a cochin, and my pekin hen Weeble

I feel like a total crap head about the whole situation, and it's so darn frustrating because I can only be angry with myself. Dixie was being a dog, she stopped as soon as I got home and told her to "leave it". As far as she's concerned, she listened to me and was good

I miss all of my babies, but I know they are all in chickie heaven free ranging in the nice warm sun with out any worries what so ever...

So...
I'm looking for the following:
-Gold Laced polish roo (bantam)
-Cuckoo polish, any color, bantam
-Khaki polish
-a few Lav. Orpington pullets/hens (have a roo and 1 pullet left), will also take black with lavender gene
-Black East Indies ducks
