Unless your going to get heavy into breeding having a bunch of different breeds is a lot of the fun! Mine look like a mixed bag of colors, patterns, etc. I have chanteclers, Barred rocks, EE's, wyandottes, RIR's and comets and booted bantams and I love them all. My RIR's and comets are a little flaky. But I may have some standard layers if your interested. I hand raise mine so they're friendly. The RIR's and comets are birds I saved from our local TSC and are kind of flaky but im working on it.

Well, make sure you have room! lol I've got over 25 chicks coming with me at this point (blrw), after I've taken out what I want to keep. Probably more by then because I'm hatching weekly. I seriously need help.....

well...your just evil... both those amaracauna chicks were boys! I sold one yesterday and keeping the other blue for breeding as I dont have a roo for that breed...I am bringing (2)-4 week old split lav silkie chicks for you-the olive eggers have not done squat for me. I have 5 birds ( I sold most of the eggs:-( ) I have 1 OE pullet...1!!! Im so discouraged on the roo front this year...I've been giving them away left and right.

I'd love to be there. I have a Copper Blue Marans cockerel I'm considering to trade for ? If you're interested, let me know.

I have this georgeous Olive egger from Marty my FBCM and my wheaton Ameraucana. he is ready to breed and really is a nice bird. His sister is already laying and it is a very rich olive color.

He does not have cross beak, but rather he broke the tip a bit on the cage I think. I have since trimmed it and it looks much better now.

If anyone is interested in him I will bring him. If you want a rainbow flock he is the roo to have as he has both the dark brown and blue egg gene and will breed all sorts of colored egg layerd is bred over a mixed flock.
