If I get them to hatch I will:) I only want to keep 2 and pray they will be a pair:) I dont know how to sex ducks at all-they will be only 1-2 days old when I bring them-can you sex?

was thinking of making the voyage and bringing black rosecomb pairs and some bantam mille fleur cochin project pairs. Can anyone tell me what the rules are for bringing birds into PA? I am NPIP.

Thanks

Would you update me with details? When and where it is? And like MsBear, I would like to know what the rules are for bringing chickens into Pa.

I will have three empty bators I am filling tomorrow (plus it looks like two Silkies just went broody, what timing!)

I'm setting:

Barred Rock
Rhode Island Red
Dark Brown Leghorn
Buff Ducks
Silver Appleyard Ducks
Ameraucanas
Buff Silkies
White Silkies
Coturnix Quail (Brown, white and Tuxedo)
Standard Cochin
Mystery Eggs (I bought a ton of eggs from a breeders "overflow" and I don't recall what he said they were! Duh)

I stink really bad at hatching, so no idea WHAT will hatch out!

I also have a Blue Standard Cochin Roo $15.00 (Could have more size and better color to compete on a National level, but its not bad)

I also heard from a friend that the Bath NY auction will be having some of Superior Farms birds, I guess they are handling some of the dispersal? So I might have some "resells" if I have to buy lots to get the one bird I want (so it goes right?) I did hear some "things" (aka gossip) about the birds, so PM me about it.

I will also have:

Purebred Lionheads (Bucks and does) $25-50
Purebred Rex (Bucks and Does) $25-40
Purebred Silver Fox (Maybe one pair) $50-75
New Zealand Blacks (Maybe one) $25
Meat Cross (AmericanxRex) $15

I'm working on getting my website updated with current pics, I can email you pics in the meantime of the rabbits if you'd like. All are pedigreed show quality rabbits (well, except for the Mutt Bunnies and the NZ have a partial pedigree) that would be great for 4h fairs this summer or ARBA shows, or breeding. They also make nice pets!

One thing to prob keep in mind is that essentially every species of animal native to PA is illegal to have in PA...technically even to cross the state line. One thing that means is that mallards are illegal in PA...I dont' know if anyone coming has mallards though...
