N.E. Chickenstock 2011!!!!!! Who's up for it??

Update on Day old chicks for sale:

Looks like my hatch is done, I *might* have a few more than will be listed here, a couple I had to help out, they look iffy to me.

Told ya guys I stink at this, its amazing to me that stuff hatched out alive and healthy!

6ish Dark Brown Leghorns 3.50 each
5 Australorps 3.50 each
5 Barred Rocks 3.50 each
1 Easter Egger (If you can pick it out, LOL) 3.50
1 Ameraucana 4.50
2 Silkies 4.00 each (one Grey, one Buff)
6 *Reds* (Yeah, some of these, NOT Red. I love how people call any production bird a Rhode Island Red) 2.50 each

No duckies yet.

I have eggs under two broody hens still, no clue if they'll hatch or not, or when. Ditto for the eggs under the ducks. I didn't write down when they started!

Note that you should write what is in the egg on the top of the egg, not on the side where they'll pip thru what you wrote! Duh. I had to piece eggs back together to see what I had, LOL

Other Stuff:

10 Two week old Pekins 6.50 each

2 Easter Eggers/Cross (4ish weeks) 3.50 each (Could be pullets

)

3 White Quail 4.50 each

Coturnix Eggs (2 dozen) 8.00

Olive Egger eggs 4.00 dozen (They're brown eggs that will hatch out Olive Eggers)

BBS and chance of Lav Ameraucana 8.00 dozen (Split Roo and Hen from Chicken Stalker, others from other breeders)

Mixed Dozen of Standard Cochin, Silkies and EE 8.00 dozen

I'll have about 4 Jr Lionheads for sale, nice quailty stock for show or brood. $25 each with pedigrees (2 REW, 1 Tort, 1 Black)

New Zealand Black Buck 6 weeks $15.00 Purebred, show stock, just no pedigree.

I'll probably bring a couple Rex Jrs and maybe a pair of young Silver Fox (Pedigreed, Show Quality)

I have an Older Rex brood doe (pedigreed) that I can breed, $35 PM me for info on her...

Looks like anything I sell will go to pay the Vet bill and not dozens of new chickens.

My Kitty is blocked, Thank goodness he started now and not this weekend when no one would be here to notice. I'm hoping its just an infection and not a blockage, he's awfully young to be having bladder stones! Poor Kitty.

I'm going to have to sit on my hands to keep from spending too much. Unless I can talk my husband into some chicken spending money that is... But he says I have too many already! My plan is if I just buy the breeds I already have, he'll never notice a few extras, right???

here is a white/ lavender split Show Girl Cockerel that is available. I have 3 of them (I also have a silkie with the same colloring that is very nice and is from the white lav cross. ) and only am going to keep 2 of them for project purposes (mostly curiosity lol)

he has great feet and a huge vaulted scull. you can see lav bleeding through in the tail (or it looks like lav to me) and what looks like buff bleeding through. he would be $20 If you would be interested PM me.

only a few months old he will fill in a lot more.

in this other pic you can see the white lav splits along with some of the whites those white sg are the sisters from the same hen when being bred with my white silkie roo instead of the lavender.

Actually, it's a good idea, but they must be vaccinated as day-olds, from what I understand.

I would be happy to do a demo or vaccinate any chicks (I only do the Mareks vaccine but I can research wheather the others are the same) As far as vaccinating them it really should be done when they are a day old and then they should be kept isolated for the first 10 days from dirt or any other chickens or chicken dust. I dont see how that would be possible at chickenstock, but I can show how it is done and all that

Thanks. I appreciate it. This is all good stuff to know.

If I can talk hubby into it and the kids are away Saturday night, we may come down and camp. Is there enough room for a small pop-up?
