white crossed with black = white? Forgive the newbie genetic question....

White x black=split whites (they will be visually black but carry white gene). It works the same as the lavender gene. Only shows up if the fowl has two copies of that gene.

Hey new chick 203!!!
Totally awesome coop....very impressive.....and gorgeous!!!! Now you'll get to fill it with wondeful chickens from this weekend!!! How I wish I could GO!!! You'll find that "chicken people"(and duck/poultry people in general) are some of the nicest people I've EVER met. Maybe next year I'll get to attend......if there is one!!! I'd plan for it better....this weekend I have a lot of eggs hatching....top-quality BLRW's, Frizzled Cochins and hybrids from my own flock. If that wasn't happening, I probably could have gotten a "chicken-sitter"(smile).
