This is my first posting to BYC... I've been "lurking" for months!

Is it too late to "sign up" for this Chicken Meet?

My coop is on its way to completion, I have a brooder ready, and I would love to get my very first chicks!!

I'm guessing since no one answered, that the answer is no, but I'll try one more time. I'm looking for black javas, eggs or chicks. Anybody bringing some to Chickenstock? Please?

I already have a couple of black chickens. I was looking specifically for Black Javas so I can help the breed along. It's one of the 1st breeds in the U.S., and it's on the endangered list, that's why I want to help it along. There are less than 500 breeding pairs in the U.S.

I think, many, many pages back, they decided not to do the CL thing. Afraid that we may scare them off!
