Sorry I've been delinquent. I had more fun than could ever be posted on a forum.

Steph and Jason you two are truly AWESOME! I had an awesome time. I swore I wouldnt bring birds home, but you see how THAT ended. Next year I'm bringin the quervo and we're firing up that John Deere Green blender. I might steal Mars Bar or Travis.

Nat, you can roadtrip with me anytime! Great fun, great company, awesome conversation, and someone who finally thinks I'm not nuts... well, not TOO nuts anyway.

Nava and El? OMG... you two are a hoot. BTW in case you weren't keeping track... I WIN!

Carrie and Mike- SO nice to meet you, but I am going to meet you in the CD so we can get a beer!

Bob? Glad you found your tent, next year, I'm putting a GPS on your bottle of grey goose (and I promise not to talk too loud).

Buugette and BloominOrchid- So nice to have met you, glad you liked the silkies, I knew they were going to a good home.

PC and AHappyCHick- very awesome to meet you...

TheirHISChickens- I still argue they are yours

nice to meet you as well.

Acid Chipmunk- next year you, me and your hubby need to find the bottom of a pitcher of margos.

Marilyn, cottage garden, sachasmom, and everyone else... It was so nice to put a name with a face, you're all incredible people. I SO look forward to Chickenstock2011!!!

Ok, so I'm a little late with my post! lol That doesn't lessen the enthusiasm of my applause for Steph and Jason....GREAT EVENT! Absolutely lived up to my expectations and was sooooo welcome.

You two are fantastic and I loved your place. Thanks to everyone who stopped by my rig to take a look at my artwork and my and Patty's birds. We had the best time meeting everyone and feel like we walked away with so many new friends. I didn't want it to end.

Here's to all the great people we met at ChickenStock, and thanks to Steph and Jason ( and their families)for hosting. You did a wonderful job!! I think the weather was perfect despite the drizzle, the food was much too plentiful ( John REALLY enjoyed those chili-dogs) and there were more than enough chicks/chickens/ducks/bunnies/rats/peacocks/geese/turkeys/did I miss anything? to satisfy everyone's cravings!
Tonight I just set the Maran eggs from Cottage Garden and AHappyChick. Thanks gals... wish me luck- I REALLY will need it! I put some of my blue EEs in,too and I won't be able to see anything in any of them so I won't bother candling.
<G> they really are HIS chickens , you know. He told me he wanted those red eggs. He's having a fit now because his Orps are hatching at DD's and he isn't there to fuss over them.
Let us know when the next event is scheduled!
And Nava, if you were on some of the back roads we traveled a few weeks ago, God Bless You! Those aren't roads, they are mountain goat paths!

Had a blast at my very first Chickenstock -yea!!!!!!!!

Many thanks to all the people who bought birds and left me room to take home some of Bob's fabulous silkies home....lol.......

Our hosts were THE BEST ! THANKS Steph and Jason.

Bob, the bbq was fantastic. Thanks for all the steak, ribs and shrimp.....

I missed out on some of the gray goose fun the first night due to a headache, but probably for the best : )

It was so nice being able to put faces to the names I have seen on BYC for years

And... Gretchen, thanks for putting up with my snoring. You were a great traveling buddy !!!!

My older kids were raving about the vit C drops and carmels ahappychick brought for all the kids the other night
and my youngest took the whirl-le-gig in for show and tell today. He probably said "my mom and dad took me to a cool farm
with lots of chickens, neat animals, mud puddles to play in, AND A TON OF DOUGHNUTS and I got this toy..."

Thanks again for all the happy memories and a day filled with something for everyone!

Pricilla is doing great-she has a cage all to herself-when I get home from work I take her outside and let her free range under my watchful eye-Needless to say everyone who has seen her freaks out! They are like..WT HE$$ is that? Is it sick? Did it get beat up then I have to go into what she is and stuff I just laugh-I tell them my good friend gifted me a PP!
