I'll be at Jax. Hoping to unload some roosters at that show, lol. I'm pretty sure I have a buff SG roo that I probably need to sell.

I MIGHT have a white Showgirl Roo too.

looked at the calendar and it is still July...I am still open for October, probably the first week end if that works for every one...we have a little time yet...I would do it sooner but the heat concerns me...I have spent a lot of my time this summer just keeping my birds moderately comfortable...poor things...

Its hot here to.Had to teach chickens how to swim with all these rain. Just hatched first set of eggs. I'll have some to bring to swap

hey babyriver...I am still on...I am looking forward to having an event here...it will be mega fun...and I hope we have a good turn out...just waiting on that cooler weather...heat index today is soemthing like 108...ug! Add the rain and it is like breathing under water with the humidity...not good for birds and a swap meet...but we will do this...

For any of those who cannot wait, Green South is holding a small animal swap/trade day on August 15th. I attended the first one they had in April and sold everything...2 goats and nine RIR pullets. Very organized and lots of foot traffic.

Here's the info in case you are interested:

Saturday-
August 15th 8am till noon
Located at Green South Equipment
on CR220 beside the railroad tracks

All animals welcome!
Eggs, plants, and farming accessories—tack, cages, feeders, waters, ect…. are wanted too!!!!

Setup will begin at 7:30am
You are responsible for:
Your set up and clean up
Any necessary health records
Your animals’ water buckets and shade if wanted!
(A water hose will be on-site)

GreenSouth Equipment will be having a customer appreciation day inside the store with all feed on sale and discounts on lots of merchandise!
