;n; missing chicken HELP

Last night 6:30 ish my parents put the chickens in the coop and run thinger but there was one left out (my favorite one) I was at my play so i didnt know until we got home at about 9:30 so it was really dark and of course shes a welsummer so shes camouflaged. I looked in the low branches but couldnt find her i looked out earlier today but with no luck. I was wondering if i should freak out and go cry in my room or if i should just calm down and just hope she comes home. There has been hearing of fisher cat calls but chickens are that dumb right? ...right?

I am so so sorry.

All you can do is go look for her. If she was taken, chances are you would see a pile of feathers somewhere.

I sure hope you can find her.

Hello and Welcome To BYC! Sorry about your hen, hope you can find her. Keep looking for her, if she is alive she will probably come back to the coop where the other chickens are. The other thing, could she have hidden a nest and be broody?

I'm sorry, usually they come home to eat, or in time to roost. Fisher cats are really bad predators.
