Hello

from N.W.Tenn. , I'm kind of a newbie when it comes to anything chicken,
but I know I'll learn alot from all the good people on this forum.

Are there any others from Tennessee on here ?

Hello, I'm just north a hop, skip and jump away from dyersburg. If your ever looking for silkies or sizzles. I usually have some for sale, and nearly always have eggs. I have my incubators nearly full right now so by the end of this month i'll have some chicks, and ducklings.

My plans are to get a few b/b/s orph pullets to keep my black orph roo company

, keep a couple of the project chicks that somebody gave me the eggs for and all the quail. I'll let the ducks get big enough to pick out some for breeding and the rest will get sold. Since they are all shipped eggs i've already tossed several clears. They're dwindling down as time goes by.

When my bators are empty, i'll start getting silkie and sizzle eggs from others to hatch so I can put new blood in my flock and work on improving quality. Through the winter i'll either hatch my birds eggs or hopefully broody's will do it for the spring sell off.

She did it! She gave me the eeeeeevil Silkie vibes! I'm so happy, too!

Those Silkie-X-Ameraucanas and the BO-X-Ameraucanas are laying more eggs than I can eat or incubate! Every now and then I sell a dozen or two blue and green eggs. I desperately need a sign in front of the house! And with 40-plus chicks in the brooder, and more eggs in the incubator, I may have to sell a few chickens, too. *must spread eeeeeevil Silkie vibes all over the country*
