Sorry you are in a tough spot. Buff ducks are really great birds. I had one and sold her and her khaki boyfriend after I hatched out one of their babies. My buff/khaki cross is a total riot. She rules the back yard

Buffs are great egg layers, they will brood their own young, and even though mine was flock raised, she still ate out of my hand and was very sociable. Hopefully someone will be able to take you up on your offer.
