Nacked neck gene

So i had Nacked neck rooster but he attack my child and I butcher him, and I want to keep one of his offsprings , but he is not Nacked neck.. is it possible that some of his offsprings in future will have Nacked neck ? Do he have some gens for Nacked neck or the fact that he is not NN means he do not have NN GENS from his father.

Naked Neck is dominant.
If you do not see it, the gene is not there.
So no, you will not get NN chicks unless at least one parent has a naked neck.

This make me sad, I had 16 CHICK'S this spring and 4 of them were NN but if I compare those 4 to this one they are way smaller and he has better body structure. But I don't wanna lose Nacked neck genes , I have 3 NN hens so maybe I will try again with breeding them to this cockorel
