Nail on foot pulled off

One of my hens managed to pull a nail off a foot. It looks horrible. I put peroxide and blue kote on it. Is there anything else I can do for her?

If the bleeding has stopped, I would say...just watch for infection. She should be fine tho. Watch that others dont start pecking it either. If so, you might have to seperate her for a few days to a week, untill it heals better.

I have a polish hen who had the same thing happen, and shes just fine! I agree with Justusnak, keep a look out for infection and if her toe is being pecked by the others. Hope all goes well!!!
