Naked neck...my favorite!!

It often seems that way. I advertise/sell peafowl(and very rarely the chickens).. a lot of people who come express digust at the turkens.. but nearly half of the time when I say some are available, they want one or two.... LOL

In fact the last people who came for peafowl, the guy did not like the naked necks.. AT ALL. His wife, found them "funny".. happened to have extras that could use a new home so I mentioned some were available.. guess what? She wants one! Poor guy is now stuck with naked necks at their place.. LOL

Petpaw, Have fun watching it grow! Are you trying for a naked neck with the silkie fuzz or a showgirl? I had a few naked necks with fuzz(as in look like regular turkens except their feathers were silky), they were very cute..

Anyone who spends enough time around turkens to find out how friendly they are and what great layers they are will fall in love with them. It's a given. They have overtaken barred rocks and cochins as my favorite breed. I want to find out if the bantam turkens lay as well and are as friendly as the standards. If so, I will be in the market for them next year! And I want a blue hen to go with my current flock
