I have 5 Turkin chicks that are about 2.5 months old, they are in one of those new fangled little dinky 'coops' that are so popular among backyard chicken keepers. I have had them in that, inside the chicken run. There are about 25 chickens in there now, it's about a half acre fenced in with the top covered with avian netting. The big regular coop, where they sleep, is part of the barn so there is plenty of room..I just wondered if because of their naked skin, has anyone had a bad experience with them getting pecked at??

My Pal had to keep all his separate in another Coop...
nooooo!!! omg, I don't have another coop. I have two main areas for chickens, one is an apple orchard and one is this run I have for the more delicate birds; ie Polish, little guys, young. ugh. I don't want to get rid of them :th

Sorry .....It might workout yet?....always have a plan B when dealing with Birds.......

;)I have 75 acres, I can find a separate area..just really didn't want to. I can actually just make an area separate from where they are at right now. Just a bit more work to my list..they can be neighbors with the Alpaca, who, btw, love to watch the chickens. They will watch them for hours...
