Naked Necks In The Winter

I'm planning on getting 20 Naked Neck chicks in 2017.
I have really thought about getting them.

Since I live in North Dakota I am wondering if I should do something for their neck in the winter. My mom knits so I was thinking maybe having her knit them like a sweater for their neck.

I posted the following pix for another Naked Neck thread, but in a humor fashion. But your Idea of knitted sleeves is a GOOD one. My small dogs need coats and sweaters during winter.
