Picked chokecherries which made the robins mad.

Will make chokecherry jelly later. Probably need to pick more to have enough for wine too.

Buy 10 bags of pea gravel, put those bags in the new coop, and work on another set of roost bars for the lavender Ameraucana pen because they are getting all the grow outs. They are so tolerant of juveniles growing up. They are more tolerant than the bantams are so they get designated as baby sitters for the pre teens lol.

Having coffee. Will gather the eggs, check the mail and pick the cherry tomatoes. Have to go buy some feed for the chickens and make sure everyone has food and water. I also have to get my dishes done.

I went for a run this morning.
I picked a bunch of onions and set them out to dry.
I will enter my drawing in the fair.

Dang it, no! Something is getting into the traps, probably a mouse, and eating the bait. Small enough to get through the 1" openings of the two live traps. For the rat trap, it's eating the bait, but not heavy enough to trip the trigger plate. I did see mouse poop in the enclosure too.

* Come up with an answer to the inevitable "What's for dinner" texts I will start getting in abut an hour.

Something has been getting in and cleaning all the bait out of the traps I use for voles. I started mixing rat poison with the peanut butter. It seems to be working. They still clean out the bait but the bait kills them. I have been finding dead little critters.
